AC Repair, Tune-Ups and Heating in Tomball

We're open Monday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Emergency service is available after 7:00 PM, 365 days a year. Because we're based here, same-day service in Tomball is often possible, though we can't promise it every time during a heat wave.

We work on central AC, heat pumps, furnaces and ductless mini-splits. We don't repair window units or portable room ACs.

Tomball Homes, Tomball Problems

• Old Town and older homes in 77375. Older houses near downtown often have duct work that's been added to and patched over the decades. Fixing leaks and bad connections can do as much for comfort as new equipment.
• Wooded lots. Tomball's pines and oaks are part of its charm, and also why outdoor coils clog. Coil cleaning is a big part of every tune-up we do here.
• New construction along 249 and in 77377. Newer homes in places like Rosehill Reserve and Amira are efficient, but we still find attic flex duct that's slipped off its collar and rooms that never got balanced.
• Summer attic heat. Our attics get hot enough to cook the tape off duct connections. When we find one loose, we reattach it and seal it with mastic or UL-181 foil tape and a strap.
• Humidity. Long, muggy summers mean a lot of water through your condensate line. Clogs there are a top cause of sudden shutoffs and ceiling stains.

What We Check on a Tune-Up

• Inspect and check the outdoor condenser coil and indoor evaporator coil
• Check refrigerant pressures
• Test the capacitor and contactor
• Flush the condensate drain line
• Check the air filter
• Check and tighten electrical connections
• Check thermostat operation
